Product Description

EachFilm-Coated Tablet Contains:

SodiumBicarbonate USP500 mg

Excipients.q.s.

Colour:Titanium Dioxide

INDICATION:

DLC-SoBi isindicated for the chronic management of Metabolic Acidosis in Chronic Kidneydisease (CKD) patient and as following:

It is also indicated in severe diarrhoeawhich is accompanied by a significant loss of bicarbonate.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

The doseof DLC-SoBi will be different for different patients.

Usual Adult Dose for Moderatemetabolic acidosis is 325 to 2000 mg orally 1 to 4 times a day. (Patientsyounger than 60 year of age, max dose 16 g/day; patients older than 60 year ofage max dose 8 g/day).

WARNING AND PRECAUTION:

SodiumBicarbonate should not be used in certain medical conditions such as; Breathingproblem (pulmonary edema), Congestive heart failure, Severe kidney disease(e.g., inability to make urine), Severe Liver disease (e.g., ascites,cirrhosis), High sodium levels, Swollen ankles/legs/feet due to retaining water(peripheral edema). As is contains sodium it should not be used in patients ona salt-restricted diet.
